Responsibilities
- Fill pure gases, gaseous and liquid mixtures to production order recipes from a database of over 25,000 items, including calibration reference standards, Flammox, and highly toxic mixtures.
- Perform high‑accuracy analysis of raw materials to ensure accurate filling of cylinders to UKAS standards.
- Visually assess packages and equipment to confirm safety before use.
- Apply an analytical approach to problem solving, identify root causes of non‑conformances, and use those insights to continuously improve filling techniques and capability.
Qualifications
- HNC or HND in a science‑related subject (preferably chemistry) or several years’ experience within BOC.
- GCSE / Functional Skills or equivalent in maths & English.
- Experience in analytical techniques.
