What You Will Enjoy Doing
- Lead the planning and optimisation of cylinder and pallet assets to ensure product availability and efficient supply across all sites
- Develop and implement production planning tools that enable accurate forecasting and support daily operational decisions
- Drive strategic initiatives including stock optimisation, packaging standardisation and product portfolio improvements
- Oversee a national asset pool of approximately four million cylinders and twenty thousand pallets with a replacement value of over four hundred million pounds, including annual reconciliation and investment planning
- Ensure all planning activities comply with legal and management system frameworks including Health and Safety at Work
- Act, Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health, ISO9001 and ISO14001
- Inspire and lead a high-performing team with a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement

- Significant experience in operations, planning or supply chain within industrial, logistics or manufacturing environments
- Degree-level education or equivalent knowledge applied to strategic and operational challenges
- Proven ability to lead national-level forecasting and planning, translating complex data into clear, actionable outcomes
