What You Will Enjoy Doing:
- You will ensure the roadworthiness, safekeeping, and cleanliness of the allocated vehicle.
- You will complete daily pre-use inspection check sheets for your vehicle and any specialized equipment required for your tasks.
- You shall operate specialized Linde equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary to load and unload vehicles.
- You will apply defensive driving techniques and demonstrate knowledge of commercial driving regulations to guarantee the safe transit and delivery of cylinders.
- You will deliver approximately 15–20 gas cylinders per day to customers in your area.
- You will use safe manual handling techniques to deliver and collect cylinders from customers.
- You will uphold strict Health and Safety standards in all operations.
What Makes You Great:
- You are holding an HGV/LGV Cat C licence; ADR (Class 2 in packages) is desirable and training will be provided where appropriate.
- A driver CPC is required.
- Knowledge of Defensive driving and Driver Regulations, including HSA regulations.
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers.
- Having a high level of personal integrity suits your profile.
- You have held the LGV entitlement for a minimum of 2 years, for insurance purposes.
