What You Will Enjoy Doing
- This is a fantastic chance to become the expert and take a central role in maintaining and enhancing the equipment that powers our operations, contributing to the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our Crawley site
- Ensure smooth operations as you ensure all electrical and instrumentation equipment is working as it should do, as you will inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair the equipment to keep everything running safely and efficiently
- Get hands on as you conduct regular maintenance and testing of instruments keeping them in the best condition possible
- Make a difference as you take the lead on installing and setting up new equipment, from wiring and mounting to programming and testing – your efforts will enhance operational excellence!
- Keep everything up to date as you will maintain detailed records and documentation about repairs, installations, maintenance, and safety inspections
What Makes You Great
- You have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, ONC) in electrical or instrumentation fields
- In addition, you are qualified in Hazardous Area Installations (COMPEX)
- Have around two years’ maintenance experience – ideally on a chemically related process plant
- You are a problem solver, who is proactive and skilled at making thoughtful decisions under pressure, always prioritising safety alongside business needs
- Furthermore, you are highly safety conscious with an awareness of Health and Safety practices and control of major accident hazards (but don’t worry—we’ll provide ongoing training to keep you up to date)
- A team player who thrives on collaboration works effectively with others
