The Technology Sales role (this is an international sales role) is responsible for delivering sustainable sales growth and maintaining strong profit margins across SEA & India. The role requires full accountability for the end‑to‑end sales process—from initial enquiry and technical specification through to order confirmation and shipment—ensuring that Bobst Manchester is consistently represented as a provider of high‑quality, technically advanced metallizing equipment.
This position plays a key part in strengthening Bobst Manchester global presence by developing long‑term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that our products and capabilities are clearly understood in diverse international markets. Success in the role depends on the ability to navigate complex sales cycles, work effectively across different cultures, and communicate confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders. The International Sales Manager also contributes to wider business activities, including marketing initiatives, industry events and the ongoing development of BOBST MANCHESTER’s market position.
Key Responsibilities
Management & Sales Delivery
- Take full ownership of sales projects from initial enquiry through to product shipment, demonstrating professionalism and a strong work ethic throughout all customer interactions.
- Build and maintain culturally sensitive, respectful relationships with customers and colleagues across diverse nationalities.
- Prepare quotations within agreed profit margins and produce accurate technical specifications.
- Organise seminars, presentations, and industry events to strengthen Bobst Manchester’s profile within the metallizing sector.
- Contribute to marketing materials in alignment with the wider Bobst brand framework.
- Achieve sales targets across assigned territories and proactively manage the sales pipeline.
- Travel internationally on a regular basis as an essential part of the role.
Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities, as well as mid‑to long‑term strategic customer relationships across assigned territories.
- Build and maintain a structured pipeline, ensuring opportunities are progressed in line with Bobst Manchester commercial objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and accurately translated into technical and commercial proposals.
- Develop a strong understanding of Bobst Manchester full product portfolio and value proposition to effectively position solutions within diverse international markets.
Functional Skills

- Proven experience in commercial or export sales within a technical environment, ideally involving capital equipment.
- Background in bespoke or engineered‑to‑order product sales is highly advantageous.
- Strong international sales capability, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Experience selling to a diverse customer base, from large blue‑chip organisations to owner‑managed businesses.
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions.

- Experience within the flexible packaging sector is advantageous
