About our Academy
Bobby Moore Academy is an all‑through school located on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, offering a world‑class education to the children of East London. Built on the legacy of the 2012 Games, we enjoy top‑class facilities including a 400m track, football pitch, Astro‑turf, and state‑of‑the‑art classrooms.
About the Music Department
The music department works closely with drama and dance studios, providing a vast practice room, an IT suite, and five individual practice rooms. This year the academy will perform its first musical production in collaboration with the Performing Arts team.
You will support the Director of Music in delivering a high‑quality music curriculum for KS3‑4, leading choir, orchestra, musical theatre, and various bands, as well as organising visits and performances in London, Nottingham and Loughborough.
Salary & Benefits
M1-UPS3 Inner London £40,317–£62,496 FTE, 0.4 FTE £16,126–£24,998 pro rata per annum. Includes teachers’ pension scheme, CPD, enhanced ECT scheme, coaching, mentoring, world‑class facilities, free staff gym, London Marathon community track, regional networks, employee health & wellbeing programme, awards and recognition scheme, flexible working patterns.
