The Role
Bob W delivers best‑in‑class hospitality to thousands of guests staying in our beautiful buildings across Europe. We combine the personality and unique touches of a host with the high standards, amenities, and consistency of a branded hotel—it’s the Best of Both Worlds. As a relatively new entrant in the industry, we aren’t just providing a unique brand of hospitality; we are actively challenging the status quo.
As our Asset Manager, you will own this space and develop the internal policies required to ensure a first‑class portfolio strategy. You will be a key member of the Development team, a hands‑on individual and a primary driver in securing the best ROI. You will define our trajectory by building a short‑, mid‑, and long‑term asset management roadmap, beginning with immediate “low‑hanging fruit” opportunities. While you will sit within the wider Real Estate team, this is a highly collaborative role. You will partner with stakeholders across the business, particularly in Finance, Legal, and Operations, to drive positive change at every turn.
In This Role, You Will
- Define and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy that adapts to evolving regulatory, economic, and policy environments.
- Establish internal best practices and ESG initiatives, driving day‑to‑day property management excellence and CO2 emission reductions.
- Act as the primary stakeholder for 50+ live properties, managing the portfolio from sunshine to sunset, and be an active collaborator in the sunrise phase.
- Lead the annual CAPEX cycle and maintenance, overseeing everything from routine repairs to large‑scale refurbishments and vendor management.
- Drive financial performance and reporting by modelling ROI/IRR, managing rental hurdles via asset software, and delivering timely portfolio updates.
- Ensure statutory compliance and risk management across various jurisdictions, keeping the portfolio aligned with the latest market requirements.
- Partner with landlords and internal Real Estate teams to pitch building investments, negotiate contracts, and support expansion communications.
Our 5‑star candidate
- Has 5+ years of experience in residential property or asset management, ideally within a high‑growth or similar hospitality‑tech environment.
- A strategic leader and problem solver who identifies root causes, anticipates future challenges, and drives decisions that impact company growth.
- Expert in financial and data tools, including MS Office, Google Suite, Tableau, and underwriting models, with a sharp eye for detail and accurate reporting.
- Highly organised project manager with a proven track record of managing multiple portfolios and gaining buy‑in from diverse stakeholders.
- Strong collaborator who breaks down silos, builds cross‑functional relationships, and mentors others to drive operational excellence.
- Tech‑forward and proactive, naturally adopting AI into daily workflows and staying ahead of industry trends and property management software.
- Fluent in English, with a second European language being a strong advantage. RICS accreditation is a significant plus.
