The Role

The role of the Business Development Manager is to elevate Bob W’s performance in the UK, with a focus on London, through identifying, prospecting, securing, managing and growing corporate accounts.

This pivotal position is an integral member of our growing B2B Sales Team.

You are an experienced sales professional who can leverage your existing network of travel buyers in the UK and who has the experience and understanding of how to establish Bob W as the preferred accommodation provider in the area.

As a self-starter, you possess the initiative to independently cultivate and foster relationships.

Your approach is strategic, leading to profitable revenue generation and fostering strong brand loyalty.

As a vital member of our Commercial Organisation, you are a part of an international team of exceptional individuals focused on customer acquisition, retention, growth and revenue optimisation.

Job Level: IC3

In this role, you will

  • Identify, prospect, and secure contracts with local corporate clients to drive revenue growth across diversified sectors.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximise revenue opportunities through total account management.
  • Sign local SME clients to the direct SME corporate programme to boost direct B2B volume and contribute to growth targets.
  • Track and report sales activities to the Regional Sales Lead and key stakeholders for alignment and performance monitoring.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with local corporates to support sustained revenue and business expansion.
  • Represent Bob W at trade shows and networking events to enhance visibility and attract new B2B opportunities.
  • Organise and host FAM trips, site visits, and client events to showcase Bob W’s value proposition tailored to client needs.

Our 5-star candidate has/is

  • 3+ years of excellent track record in hospitality Sales or Business Development in a B2B environment, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • An ambitious self-starter with hungry for results attitude.

Relentless and experienced in identifying target leads, reaching out, and generating and closing deals from cold leads.

  • Experience in the Hospitality Sales, Business Travel, Lodgings, TMC, and Group Booking sectors is preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in using a CRM (Pipedrive would be advantageous).
  • Experience in onboarding, managing, penetrating and growing corporate accounts through a Total Account Management approach.
  • Organised and process-driven approach, with knowledge of B2B sales techniques.
