Join the Bob & Berts Family as a Kitchen Manager for our new store in Warrington. We have just opened a brand-new Bob & Berts store in Warrington, and we're looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Kitchen Manager to join the adventure from the very beginning. At Bob & Berts, we love people who are passionate about great food, brilliant coffee and friendly, top-notch customer service. You'll lead our back-of-house team in a fun, fast-paced environment, making sure every dish is prepared and presented to the Bob & Berts standard while helping create the welcoming experience our customers know and love.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the Kitchen: Run the day-to-day kitchen operation with confidence, keeping service smooth, speedy and full of energy during busy breakfast and lunch shifts.
- Preparing Food to the Bob & Berts Standard: Prepare, cook and present our menu items consistently, making sure quality, portion size and presentation are spot on every time.
- Keeping Stock Under Control: Monitor food production, manage stock levels, place orders, handle deliveries and complete stocktakes to help minimise waste and support profitability.
- Training and Supporting the Team: Recruit, train, supervise and motivate kitchen team members, bringing enthusiastic energy and helping everyone work together during peak times.
- Maintaining Brand, Hygiene and Safety Standards: Follow company procedures, maintain brand standards, complete checks and cleaning records, and ensure food hygiene, allergen and health and safety guidelines are met at all times.
- Bringing Ideas and Initiative: Use your experience to support great service, suggest improvements and help the new store get off to a fantastic start.
- Working as One Team: Communicate clearly with front-of-house colleagues so customers receive excellent service from counter to kitchen.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Experience managing or supervising in a fast-paced kitchen, café or restaurant environment.
- Skills: Confidence with kitchen operations, stock control, food preparation, team supervision and maintaining consistent standards.
- Certifications: Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
- Attitude: Tidy, self-disciplined, calm under pressure, open to learning and ready to bring a positive, enthusiastic energy to the team.
- Availability: Able to work a full-time rota including weekends and early mornings. Right to work in the UK.
