Boarhunt Garage and Recovery is renowned as one of the most well established and respected roadside rescue and recovery businesses in the south of England. We are looking for Control Room Operative(s) to join our team on a permanent basis.

Working on the telephone, and computer system, in a very busy, fast-moving and sometimes stressful control room environment, you will receive calls from our customers and allocate resources to attend broken down motorists and road traffic incidents within our operating area.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Answer telephone calls in a professional manner.
• Communicate and allocate jobs to the appropriate resource.
• Keep customers updated as necessary.
• Ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and people skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Experience of handling large volumes of calls.
• Computer literate, fully conversant with Windows based applications (full training will be provided on our systems).
• Good geographical knowledge.
