We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer with 4–5 years experience in the building services design environment to join a dynamic international engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of mechanical building systems across global projects, working within multidisciplinary teams and contributing to high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions. This role offers exposure to international standards, complex projects, and strong career growth within a global engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design wet services and plumbing systems; fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants); sustainable and energy-efficient solutions;
- Prepare detailed design calculations and technical reports;
- Produce specifications, schedules, and system layouts;
- Support concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.
Project Delivery
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and structural teams;
- Assist with coordination across multidisciplinary international projects;
- Participate in design reviews and technical workshops;
- Ensure designs align with project timelines and budgets.
Compliance
- Equipment selection; system sizing and design documentation.
Software Proficiency
- AutoCAD (essential);
- Revit / BIM tools (highly advantageous);
- HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, IES, Trace) beneficial.
