We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer with 4–5 years experience in the building services design environment to join a dynamic international engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of mechanical building systems across global projects, working within multidisciplinary teams and contributing to high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions. This role offers exposure to international standards, complex projects, and strong career growth within a global engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design wet services and plumbing systems; fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants); sustainable and energy-efficient solutions;
  • Prepare detailed design calculations and technical reports;
  • Produce specifications, schedules, and system layouts;
  • Support concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.

Project Delivery

  • Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and structural teams;
  • Assist with coordination across multidisciplinary international projects;
  • Participate in design reviews and technical workshops;
  • Ensure designs align with project timelines and budgets.

Compliance

  • Equipment selection; system sizing and design documentation.

Software Proficiency

  • AutoCAD (essential);
  • Revit / BIM tools (highly advantageous);
  • HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, IES, Trace) beneficial.
