Boardrm is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing business. This job is based at our office in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the company's marketing strategy, with the aim of increasing brand awareness and delivering campaigns for selected clients. We are a vibrant, forward-thinking recruitment company, striving to create opportunities for jobseekers by changing the current landscape through innovative technologies. We are looking for a creative, aspirational and industrious individual who will complement our company values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the Marketing Plan
  • Be the Brand Manager and develop a strong brand awareness through all communications
  • Manage our creative team with a flexible, modern attitude
  • Developing Social Media strategies including content, adverts and growth
  • Budgeting for and monitoring social media campaigns
  • Measuring and optimising digital marketing campaigns
  • Creating content calendars for all communication such as email, blog, website and social media, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Increase social media engagement and website visits
  • Support content creation by providing SEO insights
  • Create original creative campaigns that align with Sales and PR plans
  • Carry out marketing activities to generate awareness of our products and services
  • Plan and execute events in conjunction with Sales
  • Report to the Operations Manager and collaborate with all departments, particularly Sales and Development

Preferred skills/qualifications/experience

  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role
  • Proven track record of performance within social media marketing
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and Google stats
  • Experience using email marketing software and proven track record of success in engagement and of increasing subscriptions to mailing lists
  • Strong editing and proof-reading skills
  • Experience leading creative projects, including video production for podcasts and vlogs
  • Experience working in the recruitment sector

We are looking for someone who has the experience, whether agency or in-house, that can demonstrate a proven track record of delivering great ROIs within the marketing department.
