We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Senior Consultant, FP&A to join our Professional Services team in London. In this role, you will partner with finance leaders and business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions. As a trusted advisor, you will leverage your FP&A expertise and technology consulting experience to help organizations transform their planning processes, improve decision‑making, and unlock greater business performance. You will lead workstreams, engage directly with senior stakeholders, and contribute to successful project delivery across a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong financial planning knowledge with consulting, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of FP&A and enterprise planning solutions for clients across multiple industries.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops to understand business requirements, planning processes, and reporting needs.
  • Translate FP&A requirements into functional solution designs, including planning workflows, dimensional structures, account hierarchies, planning assumptions, business rules, allocation logic, calculation logic, approval processes, reporting outputs, and data validation requirements.
  • Actively support configuration and validation of planning models, input templates, reports, dashboards, calculations, and workflows, ensuring the delivered solution reflects the agreed finance process and design.
  • Support data integration, model development, and reporting framework design.
  • Manage project workstreams and deliverables while ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Apply hands‑on FP&A knowledge to design practical planning models across budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, workforce planning, opex, capex, revenue planning, and management reporting.
  • Assess current‑state planning processes and recommend future‑state operating models.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, and improved business insights.
  • Help clients establish KPIs, driver‑based planning models, and scenario planning capabilities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with finance leaders, business users, and executive stakeholders.
  • Present recommendations, solution designs, and project updates to client teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively address risks and issues.

Team & Practice Development

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team capability development.
  • Support pre‑sales activities, demonstrations, solution scoping, and proposal development.
  • Contribute to reusable methodologies, accelerators, and best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in FP&A, analytics, AI, and enterprise performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, EPM consulting, finance transformation, or enterprise planning solutions.
  • Board experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience delivering finance or planning transformation projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a client‑facing environment.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
