What will you be responsible for?
- Working closely with our Financial Controller as well as stakeholders across our business, your scope will be:
- Revenue recognition analysis, reconciliation and reporting in a multi-currency environment
- Reporting and commercial analysis: Owning and developing ARR (annual recurring revenue) analysis and reporting including new customers, customer growth and shrinkage, and churn
- Analysis and reporting of recurring and non-recurring bookings made each month
- Customer level account reconciliation
- Production of aged debt reporting
- Ad hoc analysis on our customer base
- Analysis to support customer invoicing activity, this can include analysing changes in customer usage that drive billing activity
- Using critical thinking skills to identify process changes and improvements that will help improve the Order to Cash process
The Team
You will report directly to the Financial Controller and manage a small team of 2 Billings Analysts. You will ideally be happy to work with our Finance Team at our London Head Office in 24 Cornhill; however, we are open to discussions on this. We work hybrid so you will not be here all the time. There is no expectation for frequent international travel.
Requirements
We are looking for someone that has a hunger to change our working environment for the better, driving performance from our people and protecting our culture and values to make sure we remain a caring, entrepreneurial and client-first workplace. We are open-minded on the background someone may have coming into this role, but things that could help a candidate to be successful would be:
- Experience with revenue and ARR analysis in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting concepts and with a good understanding of revenue recognition concepts
- Experience in a Private Equity backed company & an understanding of the deadlines and reporting requirements that go along with this
- Excellent attention to numerical details
- Strong Excel skills, including Excel analysis, Power Query to deal with larger volumes of data and reporting
- Excellent communication skills including providing proactive updates to the team
- Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred, but experience with an ERP system is a must
- Familiarity with software or SaaS business models is a plus
