Board Intelligence is a technology and advisory firm on a mission to make boards more effective, and through them, build better businesses and benefit society. Over twenty years we have established ourselves as the market leader in governance and board effectiveness, trusted by more than 80,000 directors, executives, and governance professionals globally, including across the Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and OMX 30. Our AI-powered platform and smart board advisor give us a competitive advantage that is widening, not narrowing.

Our Mission: We unleash the potential of organisations through the science of board effectiveness, building better businesses and benefitting society.

The Opportunity: Board Intelligence's culture is one of our biggest assets, and as we scale across geographies and expand into new products, we've created a new role in the People & Culture (P&C) team to help protect and grow it. This is a role for the visible, sociable heartbeat of P&C – someone unapologetically passionate about culture, full of ideas, and confident enough to try new things with real employees.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the in-house Talent Acquisition team and the Senior Talent Partner with day-to-day recruitment activity across the business.
  • Run Board Intelligence's graduate hiring programme end-to-end, covering marketing grad roles, grad sales, and other early-career hires.
  • Support with driving participation for all P&C related surveys, taking engagement survey scores and translating them into practical, visible initiatives that employees actually feel.
  • Build P&C's brand credibility with employees and actively drive-up participation rates in P&C-led initiatives.
  • Own the onboarding and employee pride dimension of EVP, ensuring new hires feel welcomed and are rapidly set up for success into ‘ways of working’.
  • Lead AI-augmented change management across the business, bringing people along with genuine enthusiasm and curiosity.
  • Provide direct project support to the CPO on People & Culture initiatives.
  • Run programmes and projects end-to-end, from planning through to delivery.
  • Build genuine relationships across the business, acting as a proactive, visible presence for P&C.
  • Use this role as a springboard into broader People & Culture work, building capability beyond recruitment over time.
  • Plan and run engaging company-wide events that bring people together and reinforce what makes Board Intelligence a great place to work.

About You:

  • You come from an events management, recruitment, or EA background – HR experience isn't necessary, but a genuine interest in moving into People & Culture is essential.
  • 2–4 years' experience in employee experience, engagement, internal communications, events, recruitment, or EA support.
  • Proactive by nature – you spot what needs doing and get on with it without waiting to be asked.
  • An engaging extrovert who builds rapport quickly and enjoys being the visible face of an initiative.
  • A genuine track record of getting people to actually turn up, comfortable measuring and improving participation.
  • Project-focused – you like owning a programme end-to-end and seeing it through.
  • Comfortable working with survey data and engagement scores, translating them into a credible narrative.
  • Confident operating close to a CPO; a direct communicator who doesn't need heavy oversight.

Character & Style: This role is highly sociable, proactive and hands-on by design – someone who lights up a room, builds relationships easily across every level of the business, and treats events and programmes as things to be run properly. They live Board Intelligence's values in how they show up every day: Kindness & Caring, Curiosity & Innovation, and Remarkable Service.

Our Values: Our values aren’t just words on a wall. They capture our culture, and the behaviours we see and strive for every day.

  • Kindness & caring — We celebrate brilliance that comes without big egos or sharp elbows.
  • Curiosity & innovation — Entrepreneurship is in our blood. We’re inquisitive, challenge convention, think big, and move fast.
  • Remarkable quality & service — We take joy from delighting our clients and pride ourselves on ensuring every interaction is exceptional.

Benefits: We pride ourselves on our great working environment and package. Here's some of what's on offer:

  • Pension scheme
  • Personal performance bonus
  • 26 days holiday each calendar year
  • Bupa health & dental cover
  • Group life assurance
  • EAP
  • Cycle to work scheme

Diversity, equity and inclusion: Board Intelligence is committed to building a team that reflects the breadth of experience, background and perspective needed to do this work well. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic.

If you need any reasonable adjustments at any stage of the process, please let us know and we will accommodate them.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analysing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
