The BOA Group are seeking to appoint a motivated and dedicated Senior Finance Officer to join the Trust Central Team at BOA Group. The BOA Group is a unique and outstanding creative educational setting, committed to the highest standards of excellence. We are a growing Multi-Academy Trust offering creative hubs for the expressive arts and for specialist technical and digital skills. Currently comprising of three academies – ‘BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts’ (opened in 2011), ‘BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy’ (opened in 2021) and ‘BOA Digital Technologies’ (opened in September 2022) – located in the centre of Birmingham and within the hub of the creative and digital industries in the West Midlands, we benefit from superb facilities for academic, vocational and extra-curricular activities.

THE ROLE: BOA Trust is seeking an exceptional and motivated Senior Finance Officer to join its dynamic finance team, working under the guidance of the Chief Finance Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial operations of a thriving multi-academy trust, supporting three innovative academies that are at the forefront of creative and academic excellence. With responsibilities spanning financial management, reporting, audit, compliance, and administration, the successful candidate will contribute directly to the Trust’s continued success and integrity.

This position offers variety, challenge, and the chance to make a meaningful impact across the BOA Group, with occasional travel to different academy sites as needed. We are looking for a finance professional who is not only experienced—preferably with a background in the education or academy trust sector—but also proactive, detail-oriented and highly organised. Strong IT and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines and thrive under pressure.
