Job Description
Manages a medium to large-sized team of Product Owners supporting one large product or multiple products.
Requires a comprehensive knowledge of the product and market.
Strategic vision for the product or solution.
Proficiency in Lean‑Agile principles at scale.
Competency in roadmap development and feature prioritization.
Strong communication and leadership skills for cross‑team coordination.
Market and customer insight to guide product direction.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to manage moderately complex product life cycles, from development through marketing.
- Ensure collaboration, communication and escalation and help remove obstacles.
- Provide advanced guidance on product management processes and methods to ensure products are aligned with client needs.
- Review final products and strategies for major project initiatives, providing direction as needed.
- Recruit, motivate and develop staff, maximizing individual contribution and professional growth.
- Work closely with Product Owners to align team back‑logs with program vision.
- Participate in PI planning and other program‑level ceremonies.
- Influence, persuade and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, without authority.
- Manage one or more product management teams and contribute to the achievement of team objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience, including experience in securities or financial services industry a plus.
