We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President – FX Platform Sales, EMEA to join our Global Markets Trading team.
This role is located in London, United Kingdom
The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, developing, and converting strategic FX mandates across institutional clients throughout the EMEA region.
They will drive the adoption of BNY's execution and platform solutions, including Custody FX and FX Overlay, across both Developed and Emerging Markets offerings, while partnering closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
This is a highly visible, revenue-generating role focused on winning new business, increasing wallet share, expanding strategic client relationships, and strengthening BNY's position as a leading provider of institutional FX execution services.
- Revenue Generation & Business Development
- Deliver against ambitious revenue and pipeline targets across the EMEA institutional client base.
- Originate, develop, and convert new FX mandates from institutional investors.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key clients and prospects.
- Drive adoption of BNY's FX execution and platform solutions across existing and prospective client relationships.
- Lead complex sales opportunities from initial engagement through mandate award and implementation.
- Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities to expand wallet share within strategic accounts.
- Client Coverage & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior buy-side decision-makers, including Chief Investment Officers, Heads of Trading, Treasury leaders, Portfolio Managers, and Operations executives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on FX execution strategy, market structure, trading workflows, and operating models.
- Lead strategic client reviews, business development discussions, and solution design engagements.
- Represent BNY at industry conferences, client forums, and key market events across EMEA.

- Partner across Product, Trading, Asset Servicing, Relationship Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams to deliver integrated client solutions and support strategic growth initiatives.
- Maintain strong pipeline management, CRM discipline, and forecasting accuracy.
- Provide market intelligence and client feedback to influence product development and strategic priorities.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture through coaching, partnership, and knowledge sharing.
- Market Expertise & Innovation
- Maintain a deep understanding of global FX markets, competitive dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
- Leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools and analytics, to enhance client engagement, improve sales productivity, strengthen decision-making, and support business growth.
- Stay informed on developments in AI and digital transformation across financial services, identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes, sales effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Champion the use of data, analytics, and technology to improve commercial performance and client outcomes.

- Extensive institutional FX sales experience gained within a global bank, custodian, liquidity provider, or execution services organization.
- A proven track record of originating and winning FX mandates with institutional investors.
