Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications across the full software development lifecycle in a modern agile POD setup.
- Build and enhance Java-based, containerized microservices and contribute to cloud‑ready application architectures supporting T&D Modernisation.
- Analyse, modify, and optimise existing applications to meet evolving business, regulatory, and technical requirements.
- Apply agile engineering practices, including CI/CD, test automation, code reviews, and AI-assisted development, to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands‑on experience in Java-based application development within an enterprise environment.
- Exposure to containerised microservices, modern build pipelines, and relational databases (Oracle preferred), with understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) with a strong focus on code quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- AI‑first mindset with a passion for modern engineering practices, continuous improvement, and automation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work across cross‑functional teams.
