Vice President, Operations Regulatory Oversight Management (CASS) – Wealth Services Platform team (location: Manchester).

In this role, you’ll oversee the operational effectiveness of BNY Pershing’s systems and controls to achieve compliance with FCA, CBI, and JFSC client asset rules.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee operational effectiveness of BNY Pershing’s systems and controls to meet compliance with FCA, CBI and JFSC client asset rules.
  • Manage the Client Asset Oversight quality assurance plan to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit Board and Executive Committee reports to Senior Management and the Head of Client Asset Oversight.
  • Serve as the CASS SME for business initiatives from a client asset safety perspective and participate in Project Steering or Working Groups.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance and automate controls and culture to mitigate risk to BNY Pershing, its clients, and the market.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and several years’ experience in a senior client asset specific role.
  • Strong experience with the operational application of client asset rules.
  • Full understanding of managing regulatory breaches, including materiality assessment and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with regulatory submissions/notifications such as CMAR/MCAR and adherence to regulatory deadlines.
  • Experience managing an operations or Client Asset Oversight team.
