We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Scientist – AI Hub to join our AI Hub team. Work on AI capabilities that touch core financial operations used across global markets.
- Bring strong craft—clean reasoning, clear evaluation, high quality system design.
- Help define reusable patterns, standards, and emerging best practices across the platform.
- Join a high calibre team at the intersection of AI, engineering, and financial systems.
- Lead complex, end to end AI solution development on BNY’s AI platform ELIZA—from problem shaping and experimentation to deployment, adoption, and measurable business impact.
- Design and embed responsible AI practices into solutions—clear evaluation methods, transparency standards, risk controls, and human oversight patterns—while helping shape the AI Hub’s responsible AI framework.
- Establish drift/quality monitoring and cost aware performance.
- Uplift engineering quality via documentation, reusable accelerators, and communities of practice.
- Contribute to AI Hub standards, reference architectures, and platform components.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering/Management (advanced degree preferred). Significant experience delivering AI/ML in enterprise environments with proven ownership of multi phase or multi pod programs. Proven mentorship and quality bar setting.
