We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Fund/Client Accounting II to join our UK Trade Capture team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Vice President Fund accounting Manager, supporting the Manager in running teams of approx. 8 staff.
  • Ensure timely processing of all Client trade instructions & internal controls against intraday deadlines, adhering to agreed procedures and departmental objectives to safeguard against any financial or reputational loss.
  • Provide high levels of quality service and minimise risks to the organisation.
  • Exposure to complex market instruments and interdepartmental relationship building across areas such as Fund Accounting, Valuations, Corporate Actions, Data Management and Client Delivery.
  • Involvement with project-based activities and the review of new and existing processes and controls.
  • Understand the processes, controls, procedures and systems operating within the team.
  • Be proficient in carrying out designated functions and performing duties to a high standard, ensuring accurate and timely services to other teams and clients.
  • Assist in managing the performance of the team and its individuals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Ability to contribute to team objectives and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • People management responsibilities may apply in some geographies.
