The Specialist, Data Analyst & BI will be a core member of the Trustee & Depositary (T&D) Engineering organization located in Manchester. The role focuses on supporting the T&D Modernisation agenda and driving design, development, and delivery of a greenfield Corporate Actions Processing Engine that delivers enterprise-scale, secure technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex internal datasets and relevant market intelligence to support T&D Engineering and modernisation objectives.
- Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines, datasets, dashboards, and visualizations using modern business intelligence and analytics tools.
- Act as an active team member within an agile POD, collaborating closely with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
- Apply an AI‑first mindset by leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and emerging AI capabilities to improve data quality, insight generation, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure high data quality and integrity by validating, reconciling, and troubleshooting data from multiple internal and external sources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, analytical or STEM‑related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a closely related analytical role.
- Hands‑on experience with data analysis and BI tools, including the creation of dashboards, reports, and automated data workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a solid understanding of data quality, validation and basic data modelling concepts.
- Experience working in, or strong interest in, agile delivery models, with the ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
