We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fund Settlements Supervisor to join our Fund Settlements team in Manchester. Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker‑dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisors across EMEA, with sophisticated front‑end technology and flexible middle‑office capabilities. These services are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework and a dedicated client‑asset expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a small team of employees covering Fund Settlements.
- Ensure all BAU tasks are completed on time and in line with the Strategic Level Deliverables (SLD).
- Act as the day‑to‑day liaison and point of contact on all Fund Settlement matters.
- Approve and release manual payments in accordance with policies.
- Collaborate with multiple operational teams including Cash Management & Fund Dealing.
- Respond to client and Fund Manager/Transfer Agent queries in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly KRIs, Client Billing, Scorecard, Account Ownership and other required reports.
- Coordinate reconciliations and resolve all daily and other breaks within required timescales, including CASS related tasks such as client‑money & shortfall calculations and raising client‑asset breaches.
- Execute releases, functional changes and ad‑hoc testing, which may include weekend and early‑morning tests.
- Ensure team procedures are reviewed and accurately updated.
- Maintain team documents/folders in line with Records Management policy.
- Maintain and periodically review the Business Continuity plan, meeting all deadlines.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience in team and performance management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
- Experience producing documentation of a management standard and running initiatives/responsibilities independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of phone‑based liaison.
Desirable Qualifications
- Fund/Financial services experience.
