This posting describes a role within the Fund Dealing/Dealing Support area. Location: Manchester.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising a small team of Dealing Support employees
  • Ensuring all BAU tasks are completed on time and in line with the SLD
  • Acting as the day-to-day liaison and point of contact on all Dealing Support matters
  • Proactively setting up static data to enable Fund Dealing STP operations
  • Processing and tracking Alternative Fund Deals that do not flow through the deal book
  • Co-ordinating reconciliations and ensuring daily and other breaks are resolved within required timescales
  • Responding to client and FM/TA queries in a timely manner
  • Co-ordinating all internal deal submissions to facilitate correction of internal/client errors
  • Regularly monitor inbox for client cancellation requests
  • Process re-opens for clients needing to amend trades
  • Act as cover for sourcing fund prices
  • Testing for releases, functional changes, and ad-hoc testing (which can include weekends and early morning tests)
  • Ensure the Team’s procedures are reviewed and accurately updated

Qualifications

  • Essential: Experience of team and performance management
  • Essential: Skilled in Microsoft Excel including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
  • Essential: Experience producing documentation of a management standard and running initiatives independently
  • Essential: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of phone-based liaison
  • Desirable: Fund/Financial services experience
