Role Overview
The Scrum Lead guides Agile teams (Pods) in applying Agile POM/Agile practices and processes at the team level. The primary goal is to enable continuous value delivery while shielding the team from external distractions. The Scrum Lead focuses on facilitation, team coaching, collaboration, and impediments management.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, standâups, retrospectives, reviews)
- Coach teams on Agile principles and selfâorganization
- Remove impediments and manage risks/dependencies
- Promote continuous improvement and dataâdriven decisionâmaking
- Ensure tooling hygiene, reporting and data management
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders
- Support release/change management and compliance
- Manage operational flow and efficiency; analyze bottlenecks and suggest process improvements
- Reporting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration
- Coach and collaborate with the Product Owner and Pod to refine the backlog, align priorities, and engage stakeholders for effective value delivery
- Encourage open communication, emotional safety, innovation, constructive conflict resolution, and a supportive environment for experimentation within the team
Qualifications
- Relevant experience as Scrum Master/Leader
- Scrum lead certification like PSM, CSM or equivalent (nice to have)
- Worked on technology delivery and understands technology
- Good to have domain/functional knowledge in global clearing
- Good to have experience in peer bank, banking and financial company
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills
- Proficiency in Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
