Vice President, Client Insights & Innovation Asset Servicing, Client Coverage team – London, United Kingdom – HYBRID.

Responsibilities

  • Consults with clients / prospects on their strategic vision and uses an in‑depth understanding of the firm's solutions and value proposition to help achieve that vision.
  • Commercially focused on optimizing client relationships in order to increase revenue.
  • Delivers the full value of the firm by leveraging deep knowledge of the firm's product offerings and how they can best meet client needs with a solutions orientation.
  • Ideates bundled cross‑product offerings customised to the client's specific needs.
  • Fosters a constructive feedback loop with clients to ensure BNY solutions are optimally designed and can deliver on requirements.
  • Evaluates and structures deals (pricing, contract terms, etc.) to determine the optimal terms for both the client and the firm's commercial objectives and risk appetite.
  • Advances cross‑collaboration internally and connects the dots across the firm.
  • Remains intellectually curious about products within the firm to keep informed and up to date on all firm offerings.
  • Works with product partners to identify and develop new or emerging markets or capabilities for the firm to enter where appropriate.
  • Works with broader client coverage team to manage the sales lifecycle with a specific focus on operating model discovery, design, and client value.
  • Works with third‑party vendor partners to assess, explore and commercialise relationships.
  • Supports work to engage and converse with industry consultants.
  • Conducts research, compiles analyses and summarizes information for reports and correspondences.
  • Supports other team activities which may include go‑to‑market collateral, deep market / client / product research, client messaging, administration etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced / graduate degree preferred.
  • Financial Services experience is essential.
  • 5–7 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience in asset servicing and prior experience in a related client‑facing role, sales support or product related role.
  • A good understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape and industry drivers in the relevant region is preferred.
  • Applicable local / regional licences or certifications as required by the business.
