We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Audit Project Leader to join our Enterprise Resiliency team. This role is located in London.
Responsibilities- Evaluate alignment of technology governance practices with regulatory requirements (e.g., OCC, FRB, EBA, DORA, FFIEC).
- Review adherence to IT risk management frameworks, policies, standards, and issue management processes.
- Test and validate key controls related to IT governance, risk, and compliance across first and second lines of defense.
- Partner with stakeholders across Technology, Risk Management, and Internal Audit to promote continuous improvement in IT governance.
- Conduct Operational Resilience audits for global coverage, including Incident and Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Datacenter Rotation and other resiliency related Audits with regular engagement in global work of the same nature.
- Ensure testing is adequately thorough and accurate to allow an evaluation of the adherence to company policies and procedures, audit methodologies, and all applicable regulations.
- Identify inconsistencies with the control environment, regulatory requirements and best practices and initiate the development of a structure or solution to address the issue(s).
- Provide input on the development of resiliency design, implementation, user guides, and training materials.
- Review and provide input to resiliency policies and standard operating procedures.
- Understand business process mapping across multiple, highly integrated commerce platforms and business services.
- Challenge governance model around design, infrastructure and testing, documenting and enhancing resiliency capabilities.
- Conduct research on emerging risks, trends and standards in support of resiliency and contingency planning and development efforts.
- Demonstrate the ability to explain technical/complex issues to nontechnical audiences and applies advanced analytical problem-solving skills and leads others in solving complex issues and identifying innovative solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC) are a plus.
- Extensive years of total work experience preferred.
- Audit experience in these areas is encouraged: Cyber, Operational Resilience and Third Party, Banking.
- Additional core skill requirements include effective communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving.
