This role is for SVP, Product Designer to join our Client Custody team, located in London.
Responsibilities
- User-Centered Design – Lead with a user-first approach, addressing user needs, behaviours, and insights from research to create a seamless and intuitive product experience.
- Journey Mapping – Map end-to-end journeys across customers, operations, servicing teams and systems to identify pain points and opportunities, aligning teams on a shared vision.
- Interaction and UI Design – Design complex web interfaces and workflows that are functional and visually engaging, including navigation patterns and interaction models; use animation and micro-interactions judiciously.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into clear design solutions within technical constraints.
- Proficiency in Design Tools – Advanced skills in tools such as AI-first tooling, Figma, and Miro to create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and UI specifications, leveraging AI to accelerate exploration and iteration.
- Design System Knowledge – Contribute to a global design system to ensure visual consistency and reusable components across teams.
- Complex Systems Knowledge – Understand the challenges of designing for complex systems and distill intricate requirements into clear design solutions.
- AI Experience Design (Human-in-the-Loop) – Design AI-assisted experiences with clear user intent, transparency, and controls; collaborate with product, engineering, and risk stakeholders to define escalation paths and feedback loops.
- Effective Communication and Storytelling – Articulate concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders and guide the product vision.
- Mentorship and Leadership – Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration.
