We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to join our Mellon and BNY Investments team. This role is based in London.
Responsibilities
- Managing assets independently within investment policy guidelines to achieve investment objectives.
- Supervising a small team.
- Implementing investment strategies consistent with client financial goals, risk tolerance, and applicable regulations.
- Working with research, strategy team members and other portfolio team members.
- Meeting with clients and prospects to communicate investment strategy and discuss market performance.
- Independently implementing investment strategies for more complex funds/strategies.
- Evaluating the performance of investments and making timely changes to meet investment objectives or allocation guidelines.
- Analyzing and determining the client's appropriate level of risk based on time, preferences, expectations, and market conditions.
- Contributing to team/firm profitability by ensuring retention and expansion of existing client relationships through superior investment performance and client services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience (advanced/graduate degree preferred).
- Demonstrable investment experience.
- Leadership experience desired.
- CFA or MBA required.
- Experience in fixed income, equities and ETFs desired.
