Responsibilities

- Design and build fit‑for‑purpose architectures that balance simplicity, quality, scale, and security.
- Simplify systems and workflows by removing friction, toil, and unnecessary handoffs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree a plus.
- Extensive professional software development experience, with demonstrated depth in full‑stack engineering and system/application architecture.
- Prior experience in securities, financial services, or modern engineering‑first organisations is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and the design of RESTful and streaming‑based APIs.
- Hands‑on experience delivering cloud‑native solutions, including microservices, containerisation, and modern deployment patterns.
- Working knowledge of NoSQL and distributed data stores, selected and applied appropriately at scale.
- Experience leveraging AI‑enabled capabilities—including GenAI or ML‑driven services—to enhance developer productivity, system intelligence, or customer outcomes, with a pragmatic understanding of responsible use, scalability, and integration into enterprise platforms.
