We’re seeking a future team member for the role located in London. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex, multi-workstream delivery initiatives by defining scope, objectives, integrated plans, and success metrics, ensuring alignment to BNY’s strategic priorities and governance standards.
  • Drive disciplined delivery governance by establishing and running forums, reporting routines, risk and issue management processes, and decision-escalation paths, ensuring transparency, informed trade-offs, and timely resolution of delivery challenges.
  • Partner with senior business, Engineering, and functional leaders to translate strategic goals into executable delivery roadmaps by challenging assumptions, sequencing work, and balancing client impact, risk, and resource constraints.
  • Champion consistent delivery methodologies and best practices by mentoring delivery practitioners, sharing lessons learned, and embedding continuous improvement practices, thereby improving predictability, quality, and efficiency across initiatives.
  • Ensure strong risk, control, and compliance outcomes in all delivery activities by proactively identifying delivery, operational, and regulatory risks, coordinating mitigation plans, and aligning to internal control frameworks and policies.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders by proactively engaging, communicating progress and issues clearly, and demonstrating BNY’s principles of trust, ownership, and client focus in all delivery engagements.
  • Demonstrates an AI-forward mindset by identifying opportunities to responsibly apply emerging technologies, including AI, to improve delivery outcomes, enhance client and employee experiences, and drive continuous innovation in alignment with BNY’s strategic priorities.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced certification in project/program management or delivery methodologies (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile/Scaled Agile) preferred.
  • Additional training or certification in risk management, governance, or change management beneficial.
  • Advanced delivery and program management expertise, including planning, governance, risk management, and cross-functional coordination for complex initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders, negotiate priorities, and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to translate high-level objectives into structured delivery plans and to drive continuous improvement in delivery practices.
