We’re seeking a future team member for the role of ‘Vice President, Trustee & Depositary Manager I’ to join our UK Trustee & Depositary team. This role is located in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

  • Completion and implementation of internal monitoring for all Funds, ensuring that work is completed in accordance with the departmental procedures and to the required regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular service reviews, quality assurance assessments of the offshore team, ensuring service delivery meets agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date procedures and documentation in line with regulatory expectations.
  • Plan, manage and develop team members, by forming training and development plans, using coaching skills where necessary. Set objectives or Key Areas of Responsibility of the role. Apprise performance against objectives.
  • Act as focus for all internal and external compliance/audit inspections involving issues relating to pricing, investments, audit production, report and accounts, distributions and administrative activities.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all high risk and complex administrative tasks, requiring depth of experience, are handled correctly and efficiently.
  • Drive forward operational efficiencies and streamline Unit Trust/OEIC administrative processes to increase cost savings and to increase qualitative and quantitative output.
  • Promote a strong risk‑aware and control focused culture within the team.
  • Provide support to the wider UK Trustee & Depositary teams as required.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience within Trustee and Depositary, Fund Administration or Asset Servicing.
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA, CASS, UCITS and AIFMD regulatory requirements.
  • Proven people management experience within an operational or oversight environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
