An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fund Dealing Support Supervisor to join BNY Pershing's Funds & Custody Operations function. This role combines operational leadership with hands-on responsibility, overseeing a small team while ensuring the efficient delivery of fund applications, share class conversions, fund onboarding, and operational control activities. You'll play a key role in maintaining service quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, while supporting the development of your team and driving continuous improvement across the function.

The role sits within BNY Pershing's Funds & Custody Operations team, which supports wealth managers, financial advisers, broker-dealers, and institutional clients across the EMEA region. The function is responsible for the accurate processing, settlement, servicing, and administration of investment products and client assets within a highly regulated financial services environment.

We're looking for an experienced supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced operational setting and enjoys balancing people leadership with day-to-day operational oversight. You'll work closely with internal teams, Fund Managers, Transfer Agents, Compliance, Financial Crime, and other key stakeholders to ensure operational processes are delivered accurately, risks are effectively managed, and clients receive an exceptional level of service. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, reporting, and the ongoing development of the wider Funds & Custody function.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervising a small operational team across Fund Applications and Share Class Conversions
  • Managing day-to-day workflow, priorities and service delivery
  • Supporting fund onboarding and client account set-up activities
  • Coordinating fund dealing support and settlement processes
  • Managing client, Fund Manager and Transfer Agent queries
  • Preparing Share Class Conversion instructions
  • Producing MI, KRIs, scorecards, client billing and operational reporting
  • Monitoring reconciliations and resolving operational exceptions
  • Supporting CASS activities and client asset controls
  • Working closely with Financial Crime, Compliance, MLRO and Operations teams
  • Maintaining procedures, operational documentation and business continuity plans
  • Supporting testing, system enhancements and operational improvements
  • Leading team coaching, development and performance management

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supervising operational teams within Financial Services
  • Funds, Custody or Asset Servicing experience
  • Strong understanding of Fund Applications or Fund Operations
  • Knowledge of Share Class Conversions, Fund Onboarding or Transfer Agency processes
  • Experience producing operational reporting and management information
  • Excellent Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Lookups and formulas
  • Experience managing operational controls and reconciliations
  • Strong stakeholder and client communication skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to manage operational priorities within a regulated environment

You'll be an experienced operational leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes and ensuring high-quality operational delivery. You'll be comfortable balancing team leadership with hands-on operational responsibilities while maintaining strong client service and regulatory standards.

Senior Associate level candidates will ideally have experience acting as an escalation point, supporting oversight responsibilities, mentoring junior team members, or contributing towards process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
