We are partnering with BNY Pershing’s Wealth Services Platform to appoint experienced Vice President (VP) and Senior Vice President (SVP) leaders into a dedicated Client Asset Safety (CASS) function. This is a critical regulatory control leadership area, responsible for ensuring robust governance, oversight, and compliance with FCA Client Asset (CASS) rules, alongside broader EMEA client asset regulatory frameworks. You will play a key role in safeguarding client money and custody assets across a complex global operating environment, while driving improvements in control effectiveness, automation, and risk transparency.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of Client Asset (CASS) governance, controls, and assurance frameworks
- Ensuring compliance with FCA CASS, CBI, and JFSC client asset regulations
- Managing and enhancing the CASS oversight and quality assurance plan
- Reviewing control effectiveness across custody, reconciliations, and segregation processes
- Leading regulatory reporting, breach assessment, and materiality evaluation
- Acting as a key escalation point for client asset risk issues and incidents
- Preparing and presenting reporting for Boards, Executive Committees, and senior governance forums (SVP level focus)
- Partnering with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Audit teams
- Driving remediation of control gaps and regulatory findings
- Identifying and implementing automation and data-led improvements in control environments
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience at VP or SVP level in CASS, Client Assets, Custody, or Regulatory Controls
- Strong understanding of FCA CASS rules and client asset safeguarding frameworks
- Experience in operational risk, governance, or compliance oversight roles
- Background in custody, asset servicing, or regulated financial markets environments
- Experience managing regulatory engagement, audit processes, and remediation programmes
- Strong analytical capability and control mindset
- Ability to operate in complex, global, matrixed environments
- Experience leading or influencing teams and senior stakeholders
Highly Desirable
- Experience with CMAR / MCAR reporting
- Exposure to reconciliation frameworks and custody controls
- Background in operational resilience or control transformation
- Experience implementing automation or control enhancements
