Overview
Vice President, SQL Server Database Administrator position at BNY. We are a leading global financial services company focused on innovation and delivering transformative solutions to clients worldwide. Responsibilities
- Manage production and non-production SQL Server environments for critical business‑facing applications.
- Release SQL code and schema updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database errors and performance issues.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, including indexing, queries, and server settings.
- Collaborate with Development and other Technology teams to resolve issues and enhance T‑SQL queries and stored procedures.
Qualifications
- Expertise in SQL Server architecture, including the database engine, Agent, and related services (Analysis, Integration, Reporting services).
- Advanced SQL and T‑SQL scripting abilities.
- Skilled in performance tuning, indexing, query analysis, and server configuration.
- Familiar with high availability and disaster recovery (e.g., Always On, Failover Clustering).
- Experience with data integration and ETL, particularly using SSIS.
