We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Specialist Database Analyst to join our Wealth Services DBA team. This role is located in Manchester.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage production and non-production SQL Server environments for critical business facing applications.
- Release SQL code and schema updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database errors and performance issues.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, including indexing, queries, and server settings.
- Collaborate with Development and other Technology teams to resolve issues and enhance TSQL queries and stored procedures.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Expertise in SQL Server architecture, including the database engine, Agent, and related services (Analysis, Integration, Reporting services).
- Advanced SQL and T-SQL scripting abilities.
- Skilled in performance tuning, indexing, query analysis, and server configuration.
- Familiar with high availability and disaster recovery (e.g., Always-On, Failover Clustering).
- Experienced with data integration and ETL, particularly using SSIS.
