We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Corporate Actions Manager II to join our Corporate Actions team. This role is located in London on a HYBRID basis (4 days a week in office).
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage a medium to large Corporate Actions team responsible for providing corporate action-related custody processing.
- Monitor the workload of the Corporate Actions team to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and in compliance with department procedures. Review daily control reports.
- Approve the work product and operational output of staff to ensure accuracy on corporate actions activity.
- Review files for completion and compliance with execution of risk control.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external sub custodians, custodians, depositories, agents, and brokers to ensure that daily work meets organizational standards.
- Ensure adequate staffing allocation, performance, and personnel management of team.
- Develop policies and procedures and manage written supervisory procedures.
- Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution and professional growth.
- Ensure achievement of team goals.
- Equip the team to operationalize and attain team objectives.
- May manage financial resources of the team (budgets, expenses, etc.).
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of total work experience with at least 3 years in management preferred. Experience in corporate actions is essential.
