We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Consultant Relations to join the BNY Investments team. This role is located in London, UK.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Responsibilities
- Lead EMEA Consultant Strategy: Drive a coordinated consultant relations plan across EMEA, deepening relationships with key UK-based and pan-European consultants to support regional growth objectives.
- Manage Consultant Engagements: Independently oversee a portfolio of EMEA consultant relationships, ensuring consistent messaging, high-quality interactions, and alignment with the firm’s investment capabilities and regional priorities.
- Commercial Growth Focus: Optimise consultant relationships to generate new business opportunities, influence ratings, and support asset growth across institutional channels in EMEA.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior stakeholders across investment, risk, marketing, and executive leadership to deliver integrated solutions and ensure consistency in consultant-facing materials and messaging.
- Team Leadership & Oversight: Provide day-to-day management of the RFP and consultant servicing teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs and effective support across the EMEA region.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Qualifications
- Institutional Client Expertise in EMEA: 5+ years’ experience in institutional business development or consultant relations, with a strong understanding of the EMEA consultant landscape and regional market dynamics.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage and grow moderately complex consultant relationships, with a strong understanding of consultant influence on institutional mandates.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated success in identifying and converting business opportunities, structuring solutions, and contributing to revenue growth within the EMEA institutional market.
- Leadership & Communication: Experience managing teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders; strong written and verbal communication skills essential for consultant engagement across diverse EMEA audiences.
- Process & Quality Ownership: Familiarity with RFP processes, consultant databases, and quality control of external communications; ability to drive consistency and accuracy in messaging across multiple jurisdictions.
