Location: Manchester, UK

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide direction to a team of business technology liaison staff supporting the technical needs of a business area.
  • Lead initiatives to analyze complex business problems and deliver improved systems, providing enhancements and recommendations as needed.
  • Tailor standard procedures and policies by selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain optimal results.
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost‑effective systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
  • Collaborate with business areas to identify opportunities for technical improvements.
  • Manage human capital resources and develop and monitor project plans and budgets, including responsibility for project estimation processes.
  • Recruit, guide, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual contributions, professional growth, and effective teamwork.
  • Oversee a team of professionals through coaching, performance management, and resource allocation, ensuring achievement of team goals and objectives, talent management, and supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • People management experience preferred.
  • Technical experience preferred.
