BNY’s Markets business provides financing, execution, liquidity and collateral solutions that are integrated with BNY’s broader asset servicing ecosystem. Within Fixed Income and Equities (FIEQ), we deliver execution, liquidity and workflow solutions to a broad institutional client base.
BNY is seeking an experienced sales professional to join its London Equities franchise. This role is focused on driving commercial growth by marketing BNY’s execution capabilities, platform solutions and broader cross‑asset offering to institutional clients. It is a solutions‑led sales role focused on platform adoption, client growth and cross‑asset collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Drive commercial growth for the Equities franchise through client acquisition, wallet expansion and solution‑led sales activity.
- Position BNY’s execution capabilities, liquidity access and workflow solutions to institutional clients.
- Originate, qualify and progress new business opportunities across the franchise.
- Partner across BNY, including Execution Services, Asset Servicing, Global Client Management, Wealth and Treasury Services, to identify and convert cross‑platform opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales, Trading and Product teams to support client adoption and franchise growth.
- Collaborate with Fixed Income, FX and Buy‑Side Trading Sales to represent BNY’s broader Execution Services platform and cross‑asset capabilities.
- Maintain strong risk, governance and compliance discipline in all client activity.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Significant experience in institutional sales, execution services, platform sales, electronic trading, or related markets‑facing roles.
- Strong relationship management and business development skills.
- Ability to articulate execution, liquidity, workflow and platform capabilities clearly.
- Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively across sales, trading and product teams in a cross‑asset environment.
