We\’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Director, OPS General Management Manager to join our Operations function. This role is located in London.
In this role, you\’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead a significant portion of the assigned function for the firm, acting as the primary interface between the specific business/functional area and leadership.
- Oversee initiatives defined by business strategy that contribute to the organization\’s values and vision.
- Manage diverse functional groups, identifying business unit requirements, creating project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and execute functional strategy to achieve key business objectives, ensuring work is integrated across teams and meets or exceeds product/service quality standards.
To be successful in this role, we\’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor\’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- 15 plus years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in in financial crime, compliance, or risk management leadership roles preferred.
- Deep knowledge of financial crime regulations, including AML, sanctions, fraud, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across functions.
- Experience in payments, securities or financial services preferred.
- Proven ability to lead recruitment efforts, manage and develop teams to maximize their collective contributions, and motivate lower-level managers to encourage professional growth.
- Experience overseeing the development of policies and processes to ensure overall team success and synthesizing procedures across the function.
