Senior Associate, Middle Office

Role Overview We’re seeking a Senior Associate, Middle Office, to join our Operations team in Manchester – HYBRID. Key Responsibilities Oversee quality control of processing, work allocation, and workflow of the Middle Office team and outsourced functions in accordance with SLD. Review and approve work conducted by junior team members following policies and procedures. Perform analysis and research on complex transactions and resolve inquiries. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing insights on multi-faceted transactions and escalated inquiries. Maintain trade static data, trade enrichment, and handle trade exceptions and market claims. Conduct complex reconciliations (cash, assets, trade matching, market value), resolve breaks, and manage trade fails. Participate in monthly client statement workflows, ad hoc reports, and incident management. Identify, resolve, and escalate issues affecting the accuracy of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR). Guide less experienced team members and act as SME in incident management. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve account reconciliations for complex transactions. Review and approve junior team members’ work as needed. Interact with clients to address questions and resolve complex inquiries. Qualifications Bachelor\’s degree in finance or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of relevant work experience preferred. No direct reports but provides guidance to less experienced staff. #J-18808-Ljbffr
