We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Privacy Manager to join our Transfer Agency Operations team. This role is located in Manchester, UK. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Subject matter expert within EMEA Transfer Agency for matters relating to data privacy, records retention, data quality and other similar governance-related tasks as required.
- Act as Data Privacy Champion for EMEA Transfer Agency ensuring that staff are aware of the requirements, procedures and practices to protect our clients’ data.
- Act as Records Management Coordinator for EMEA Transfer Agency ensuring that records for our business are inventoried and accurately classified.
- This role may require the incumbent to describe our controls around data privacy to clients/auditors as well as provide support to the EMEA Transfer Agency teams on best practices.
- Support the remediation of any data-quality issues within Transfer Agency applications.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Data Privacy, Records Management, Consultancy or Financial Services background and/or experience of applicable data privacy laws, regulations and rules of relevant regulators preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and collaboration across teams.
