We’re seeking a future team member for the role of eDiscovery Project Manager to join our Legal team in Manchester. The eDiscovery Project Manager role requires a technically literate specialist for a dynamic role to identify, collect, process and deliver Electronically Stored Information (mail, instant messaging, Bloomberg, voice) pursuant to investigatory needs.
The eDiscovery Project Manager will oversee a portfolio of discovery projects related to litigation matters, regulatory inquiries, internal investigations, DSARs, and MIFID II requests. The successful candidate will interact with Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Security, Compliance, and Information Security groups throughout discovery projects.
Candidate will need to communicate effectively with BNY Mellon attorneys and investigators as well as external law firms, eDiscovery vendors, and other legal service providers to facilitate delivery of electronically stored data in accordance with jurisdictional legal and regulatory protocol and in adherence with Global Data Privacy Regulations.
Candidate will work regularly with enterprise technology solutions including Veritas Enterprise Vault (Discovery Accelerator), Smarsh Connected Archive, Veritas eDiscovery Platform ("Clearwell"), and Exterro (Legal Holds). The eDiscovery Project Manager will report operationally into a strong US‑based team, acting as the EMEA/EU primary point of contact. Experience in the legal field or financial services industry is a plus.
