We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Operations Regulatory Oversight Management (CASS) to join our Wealth Services Platform team. This role can be located in Manchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Oversight of the operational effectiveness of BNY Pershing’s systems and controls that are designed to achieve compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) Client Asset Rules (CASS), CBI Client Asset rules and JFSC Client Asset rules.
  • Manage the Client Asset Oversight quality assurance plan to ensure that we meet our regulatory requirements and obligations.
  • Prepare and submit reports at Board and Executive Committee level to Senior Management and the Head of Client Asset Oversight.
  • Act as the CASS SME for business initiatives from a client asset safety perspective and participate in Project Steering or Working Groups.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance and automate controls and culture to mitigate risk to BNY Pershing, its clients and the market.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a number of years’ experience in a senior client asset specific role.
  • Strong experience of operational application of client asset rules.
  • Full understanding of managing breaches of the regulations, including materiality assessment and regulatory reporting where required.
  • Experience of regulatory submissions/notifications such as CMAR/MCAR and adhering to regulatory deadlines.
  • Experience of managing an operations or Client Asset Oversight team.
