We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Corporate Actions/Income Global Business Support Team. This role is located in Manchester and will lead the Business Intelligence team, a critical leadership role in driving data‑driven decision‑making, operational transparency, and digital transformation across the Corporate Events function.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Digital Transformation
- Lead the use of digital tools such as Alteryx, UiPath, and Baseline across the Corporate Events team to support delivery of Ops4Ops goals.
- Drive the development of complex digital tool solutions that automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to expand the use of digital tools across the operations team, while providing guidance to users on complex development and implementation queries.
- Provide production support for existing digital tools, including triaging issues, updating workflows, and ensuring solutions continue to operate effectively.
- Establish robust governance and reporting processes to track digital tool usage, adoption, and business benefits.
- Business Intelligence and Data Strategy
- Lead the Business Intelligence and reporting strategy for Corporate Actions, delivering advanced analytics, dashboards, and insights that support executive decision‑making.
- Define and deliver a data strategy for Corporate Events, with a focus on moving toward a self‑service model.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to understand what data is available, how it can be leveraged, and where it can be enhanced.
- Promote the use of advanced analytics, visualization tools, and AI‑enabled insights to improve operational efficiency, risk identification, and client outcomes.
- People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of BI analysts and data professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage team performance, resource allocation, and talent development to ensure delivery against team goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferred.
- 8–10+ years of relevant experience, with demonstrated leadership experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or operational reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Actions, custody operations, or capital markets processing preferred.
- Proven experience managing teams and influencing outcomes across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Expertise in BI tools, data visualization platforms, and analytics solutions (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, UI Path or comparable technologies).
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience working in a highly controlled, regulated financial services environment.
