We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director to join our Client Experience, EMEA team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Define the Operations strategy for the Platform in collaboration with EPO and Engineering leadership.
- Lead delivery of Operations services across Pods and SDGs, focusing on continuous improvement in client experience, unit costs, and control enhancements.
- Implement a comprehensive set of Operations metrics, including client deliverables, unit costs, efficiency benchmarks, and Key Risk Indicators with associated thresholds.
- Provide senior Operations expertise to support the Platform mandate, escalating issues to the EPO, Operations Practice lead, and relevant governance forums.
- Engage directly with external clients to offer insights and advice on improving efficiency on the Platform, including peer benchmarking.
- Identify and recruit Operations talent required within the Platform.
- Proactively implement standards, tools, and techniques defined by the Operations Practice, including Operations metrics, Service Catalogues, Manual Touch Point reporting, and Digital Tool deployment in partnership with the Operations Hub.
- Champion the rollout of Operations learning within the Platform, partnering with the Operations Practice to continually enhance and develop the Operations training curriculum.
- Collaborate with Operations leads across other Platforms to share best practices, streamline hand-offs, and optimize end‐to‐end transaction flows across the enterprise.
- Develop and execute a communications strategy to ensure all Operations staff are informed about Platform priorities and their role in supporting them.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
- 10-12 years of total work experience with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role preferred.
- Operations experience required; Agile experience preferred.
- Experience with both Business‐As‐Usual (BAU) and larger project/program delivery preferred.
- Strong data management and Digital Tool deployment skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing capabilities.
- Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
- Strong problem‐solving skills.
- Passion for challenging the status quo and driving innovative ideas.
- Commitment to a non‐hierarchical, transparent, and trustworthy work environment.
- Willingness to actively engage in execution and learning, encouraging the team to do the same.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate vision and gain alignment.
