We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Technology Audit - Applications & Platforms to join our Internal Audit Department. This role is located in London or Manchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Contribute to the development of the audit universe risk assessment and annual audit plan.
  • Conduct comprehensive audit planning in line with departmental audit methodology and applicable professional standards.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of technology risks by defining a risk-based scope.
  • Execute thorough and accurate testing of controls in line with the audit department methodology and professional standards.
  • Identify meaningful issues impacting area under review and lead effective communication of issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with management to ensure appropriate remedial action has been taken to address the issues identified.
  • Maintain relationships with key technology staff to stay abreast of new developments or control breakdowns.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry best practice and regulatory requirement.
  • Identify opportunities for use of Artificial Intelligence, automation and data analytics.
  • Carry out other ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed by audit senior management.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
  • Professional qualifications (such as CISA, CISM, CISSP) are highly desirable.
  • A number of years total work experience. Prior experience in IT auditing is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT Application Processing and General controls, cybersecurity, cloud, data governance and resiliency principles.
  • Confident communicator with strong influencing skills, effectively engaging internal and external stakeholders both in writing and verbally.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of self-sufficiency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience or strong interest in the use of data analytics, AI, automation, and emerging technologies in audit activities.
