We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Product & Innovation to join our Product & Innovation organization. This role is based in London.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and execution-focused Senior Specialist to help drive BNY’s product and innovation agenda — spanning digital platforms, data, payments, and next-generation financial infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technology enablement, and client delivery. The ideal candidate will combine product management capabilities with an understanding of how emerging technologies and market trends are reshaping financial services. You’ll help design, develop, and scale new capabilities that position BNY for continued leadership in a rapidly evolving industry.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Product Strategy & Innovation: Support the definition and execution of product roadmaps across core innovation themes (e.g., data, payments modernization, digital assets, and infrastructure). Conduct market, client, and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and guide product direction. Translate strategic priorities into actionable business requirements and plans.
- Program Execution & Delivery: Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver initiatives that are scalable, compliant, and impactful. Manage project milestones, dependencies, and progress tracking to ensure timely delivery. Prepare executive updates and materials for governance and review forums.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate with partners across Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Risk to align goals and drive execution. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to validate concepts and inform product design. Support leadership communications and presentations to maintain transparency and alignment.
- Commercialization & Measurement: Contribute to commercialization strategies, success metrics, and adoption tracking for new products. Analyze client feedback and product performance to refine and scale offerings. Support business planning, quarterly reporting, and budget tracking related to innovation initiatives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Experience of product management, strategy or innovation within financial services or technology-driven sectors.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to connect strategy to execution.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams, and deliver results.
- Exposure to capital markets, payments, or digital asset innovation preferred but not required.
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset with a focus on driving tangible outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience a plus.
